Interested in being part of the 2018 CHEVIOT SPRING FESTIVAL?
2018 is a big year for Cheviot as it is our 125 year anniversary of settlement, hence the Fete is going to be bigger and better than ever before.
The Festival is held annually in early September and includes the fete in the Cheviot Area School grounds. The 2017 event was a wonderful day out for all involved with a bustling atmosphere found at every corner. Buses from Kaikoura, Amberley and Rangiora contributed to our largest crowd to date.
This year the Spring Festival in Cheviot is to be held on Saturday 8th September, 10am until 3pm.
The Fete is a day of market stalls, music, family fun, food and flowers. Each year we welcome a wide range of visitors from around Hurunui, wider Canterbury, Kaikoura and Christchurch. They are invited to sit back, relax, eat, shop and enjoy all that our country fete and the village has to offer.
Cheviot Spring Festival going from strength to strength. With 7 successful years under our belt, Cheviot Spring Festival is now firmly on visitor’s calendars. With this in mind, we would love you to be a part of our day.
Below is the download link for the application form outlining the finer details of the day. Spaces are limited so we recommend you get in quick!
Visiting the wider area?
For events in the wider Hurunui district, be sure to check out the Visit Hurunui website for all the latests goings on in this beautiful region of New Zealand.
The district also hosts a range of excellent agriculture and pastoral (A & P shows) and sporting events that draw crowds from near and far.
A Club Outing?
A number of clubs have organise a group outing to Cheviot, and had a great time! We have co-ordinated various activities for them including a lovely lunch. Not only did the people on the outing really enjoy it, but it was a great boost to our cafes and shops.
